Potholes on Jalan Rasuna Said Repaired

The Jakarta Bina Marga Agency has repaired potholes on two sides of Jalan Rasuna Said, South Jakarta from Wednesday (10/19) to Thursday (10/20) night.

It is done to restore the condition of damaged roads as a result of being affected by the LRT construction and to minimize traffic accidents.

Jakarta Bina Marga Agency Head, Hari Nugroho said the repairs were done alternately during the day and night.

"Thursday night, our team finished working on the hotmix module on Jalan Rasuna Said. Hope it can make people comfortable and safe," he expressed, Friday (10/21).

He explained that repairs during the day used cold mix materials to minimize road user accidents.

As for repairs at night, it was done using a hotmix material with a module system and was intended for wider and more severe road damage.

The repair using the hotmix module followed that the width had matched the width of the road lane. By doing so, it would not endanger road users who passed because the elevation or height of the road was still the same as the surroundings.
